I have a screw conveyor with base mount for motor that is belt driving a Dodge gearbox. What motor would best suit this application?
both SEW eurodrive and Nordgear have special options for parallel and right angle reducers to fit the screw conveyors.

If you would like to simplify the set up and avoid having so many moving parts you can switch to a direct drive helical bevel or parallel shaft gearbox with a screw conveyor shaft and CEMA drive shaft to directly couple the the screw and trough of the screw conveyor/auger. I have used Nord gear’s SCP – Screw Conveyor Package and it works like a charm and has simplified our set up here.
