Anybody have any experience using Teco westinghouse motors? I have always used Leeson on my compressor but i found a Teco Westinghouse Motor that fits the same specs. Are these good motors?
@Odayalala I also had a leeson motor for my boat lift, after a about 1.5 years the motor would not lift the boat past a certain point i changed it out for a weg which solved the problem.
I’ve been using Teco motors for years, i have never had a problem with any of them. I’m using them on my compressor at home.
I bought a Leeson motor and had nothing but issues with it. It was a 2 HP motor that i used for my boat lift. The motor didn’t even last the season. I switched over to a Baldor and never had any issues.
Both are great motors, used to work in a factory where we used a lot of teco and some Leeson. Neber had a problem with either one. Both are very repuatable manufacturers.
