Hi Guys I came across a Lincoln motor and notice that Lincoln motors and Leeson motors are both owned by Regal Beloit, what is the difference?
I believe Leeson bought Lincoln Electric before they were bought out by Regal. They have combined the lincoln motor offering with the leeson motors. This is why if you look at a newer leeson catalog you will find lincoln numbers inside. – Hopes this helps you out…
Honestly steven I think they merged the 2 brands and are slowly changing over a lot of the motors to Leeson but there are a lot of lincoln motors out in the field so they still support the brand.
Thanks for your clarification Boris. So is one better than the other or based on what you are saying they are pretty much the same as they are both from the same manufacturer and I assume they differ by features and that’s why they are combined?
